Asbestos Risk Assessment Course to Be Led by C&IH at FAAM/BOHS Conference in Nottingham, England

C&IH will lead a professional development course (PDC) entitled, “Crash Course on Asbestos Risk Assessment: Workers, Community, Consumers” at the Faculty of Asbestos and Management (FAAM)/British Occupational Health Society (BOHS) Asbestos 2019 Conference taking place November 18th through 20th in Nottingham, England. Course participants will study the four-step paradigm of risk assessment, learn to use probabilistic techniques for exposure estimation, evaluate exposure scenarios utilizing Monte Carlo and Markov’s chains framework, engage in hands-on exercises to better understand the application of dose-response relationships in exposure outcomes, and much more.

C&IH will also take part in the “Retrospective Risk Assessment and the Sentencing Guidelines *fictitious incident*” discussion on November 20th at the conference.
