NIOSH Research Grant Awarded to C&IH

The NIOSH Mountain and Plains Education and Research Center has announced the award of a pilot research grant to C&IH. The project being funded is entitled, “Monitoring and Modeling of Exposures During Auto-mechanic Degreasing Operations.” The research will characterize airborne concentrations of organic solvents associated with degreasing operations through occupational work practice simulation studies performed in C&IH’s exposure simulation chamber, and through the development of two-zone exposure models
