Included in the January 2023 edition of The Synergist, published by the AIHA, is an article by C&IH Director of Research and Development, Dr. Andrey Korchevskiy titled: “The Safety Threshold: Understanding Risk Tolerances.” The article explores how the perceived acceptability of a hazard drives risk tolerance and determines “safety thresholds” among individuals and groups.
