C&IH congratulates Dr. James Rasmuson, founder and Senior Scientist at C&IH, on becoming a full member of the Society of Toxicology. Founded in 1961, the Society of Toxicology is comprised of scientists in academic, government, and professional organizations from over sixty nations and is committed to the study and prevention of adverse effects of chemical, physical, or biological agents on living organisms and the ecosystem. Full membership of the society is limited to individuals with significant published work and professional experience in toxicology. Dr. Rasmuson has numerous publications including books, articles, conference proceedings, abstracts, and an American Industrial Hygiene Association reference document, addressing topics in exposure assessment, exposure modeling, toxicology, and risk assessment, as well as aspects of methodology validation, applied statistics, epidemiology, environmental science, and analytical chemistry.
