The International Task Force for Children’s Environmental Health (ITFCEH) was presented with the American Industrial Hygiene Association (AIHA) Outstanding Project Team Award at the 2013 annual AIHA conference held in Montreal, Canada. Presented by AIHA President Allen Fleeger, the award was received by members of ITFCEH and partner organizations C&IH and SHARE International. The award was provided in recognition of ITFCEH’s long-term efforts to reduce lead poisoning of children in Kazakhstan, and also of a successful collaboration with AIHA to prepare a reference document regarding lead poisoning in the former Soviet Union.
