C&IH assesses chemical, physical, and biological hazards across a wide range of industries. A few examples of common hazards include:
- Dusts and fibers: silica, asbestos, coal, nuisance dusts
- Ultra fine particles (UFP) and nanoparticles
- Solvents, gases and vapors: VOCs, benzene, ammonia, formaldehyde
- Metals and welding fumes: hexavalent chromium, lead, manganese, nickel
- Composites: fiberglass, styrene, resins, fiber-reinforced prepregs
- Non-ionizing radiation: RF, lasers, UV, microwaves
- Physical stressors: noise, vibration, heat/cold stress
- Other exposures: diesel exhaust, petrochemicals, paints, coatings, radon
Beyond these limited examples, every organization faces unique risks. Our role is to identify, evaluate, and manage exposures so your organization can protect employees, stay compliant, and maintain strong performance.
