Chemistry & Industrial Hygiene, Inc. provides a broad spectrum of environmental consulting services encompassing environmental due diligence for real estate transactions, development of contaminated properties (Brownfields), environmental risk management and insurance consulting, and litigation support. C&IH environmental consulting services are complementary to our industrial hygiene services and can play an integral part in a complete property or corporate risk management assessment. C&IH provides excellent customer service through relationships that only a smaller consulting firm can offer, and can also turn-key both industrial hygiene and environmental consulting services typically offered only by larger firms. Through our core competency of in-house staff and pre-established teaming relationships, C&IH provides clients with a broad spectrum of environmental expertise. C&IH's team of environmental consultants has been assisting clients since the implementation of CERCLA and RCRA. Our environmental competency includes soil, ground water, and air testing and monitoring, assistance in program development and implementation for site investigations, feasibility studies, remedial actions, and exposure and risk assessment.
The C&IH environmental consulting team includes members with advanced degrees in chemistry, biochemistry, and microbiology, as well as four certified industrial hygienists (CIH), two board-certified toxicologists (DABT), and a professional engineer (PE). Our staff has experience in site investigation planning, exposure characterization, health and safety plan development, and exposure and risk assessment. C&IH also has pre-established teaming relationships with other environmental consultants and remedial contractors who bring additional knowledge and experience to any C&IH project. In addition to our field-related environmental capabilities, C&IH staff is experienced in all areas of chemical sampling and analysis including methods development for unique contaminants, data review and validation using US EPA or other methods, and environmental and occupational program development and review.
